To find the density for something you got to take it's mass divided by it's volume. I learned on the simulation that on some things the more volume you got and the less mass more than likely it's going to float. If the mass and volume were equal it was probably going to sink depending on the material. If the item's density passes the density of the water then it will sink no matter what.
